htg designs is an interior design studio based in London and Surrey, working across London and South East England.
We work with our clients to plan, design and furnish their homes, bringing together colours and patterns with a mix of contemporary, vintage and antique furniture to create individual interiors with timeless appeal.

OUR APPROACH
Key to our approach is gaining a good understanding of your requirements; this starts with a no-obligation telephone conversation followed by a one hour site visit, to meet and go through the areas of your house the project will cover, how much you want to spend overall and to understand your vision of what it will be like to live in your house when the project is complete.
Using this information we prepare our proposal which outlines the services we can provide together with indicative budgets and timescales. The costs are broken down by room and area of work and if our proposal sounds good to you we move on to the design phase.
The design phase starts with building on our initial conversation to develop a more detailed brief of your requirements, likes and dislikes. If scale drawings of the rooms in scope for the
project are not available we will take measurements on site. With your approval, we will also liaise with any other contractors you have appointed to understand their timetables.
We capture this information in the project briefing document which sets out the details for each room in scope for the project and use this detailed information to confirm budgeted costs and timescales with you. Next we will research options, develop ideas and produce plan and elevation scale drawings showing proposed furniture layouts by room and the “traffic flow” of each space. Once these have been approved we will put together mood boards by room showing the proposed colours and finishes to achieve the desired look and feel of the space. We will also specify the furniture and fittings to meet your requirements as set out in the brief.
If desired, we can place the orders for fixtures and furniture for you, liaising with suppliers to oversee delivery and co-ordinating other contractors you may be working with, such as decorators, to oversee installation of the entire scheme.
